Caledonia & District Food Bank
The Food Bank provides food and necessities to people in need and low income households on Fridays from 9:30am until 12:00pm. They also provide a Christmas Hamper program in December that provides everything needed for a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Donations of non-perishable food items can be made in the donation box at Zehrs Caledonia just outside customer service.
Crisis Assessment & Support Team (CAST)
The Crisis Assessment and Support Team (CAST) is a 24 hour mental health crisis service for people age 16 years and older. The team is made up of clinicians specializing in mental health/addiction service.
Community Addictions & Mental Health Services of Haldimand & Norfolk (CAMHS)
Community Addiction and Mental Health Services of Haldimand and Norfolk provides community-based mental health services for people aged 16 and older and addiction services for people of all ages.
Services include assessment, counselling, consultation, support and advocacy.
Individual and group counselling is available. The length of counselling is determined by each client’s situation. When another community partner is better suited to assist, every effort is made to ensure a smooth linkage to that resource.
Habitat for Humanity
An independent, not-for-profit, faith and volunteer-based housing program assisting working families to achieve home ownership. Their “ReNew It” program can provide assistance with necessary upgrades to a family owned home. Contact them by email for more information on the application process.
Haldimand Norfolk Social Services and Housing (HNSS)
HNSS provides a variety of assistance and programs for residents of Haldimand and Norfolk. More information on their programs is available on their website www.hnss.org.

Haldimand Norfolk Women’s Services

Helping Hands for Haldimand
This community clothing closet program provides: backpacks and back to school supplies, prom dresses and accessories, winter apparel, professional and everyday clothing. Helping Hands is located at 103 Inverness St. with the Caledonia & District Food Bank and is open on Fridays from 9:30am – 12:00pm or other times by appointment. Please call the CSCHN at 905-765-4408 if you require assistance from Helping Hands and we can put you in touch with the coordinator.
Income Tax Clinic
In partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency, the CSCHN offers free community volunteer driven income tax clinics for qualified individuals. Returns are usually accepted at our office at 103 Inverness St. from March 1st – April 30th each year. Please contact our office for more information 905-765-4408.

Senior Support Services
Senior Support Services exists to enhance independence and quality of life for seniors (over the age of 60) and adults with disabilities (over the age of 18). A number of services are provided including Meals on Wheels (hot & frozen), Transportation, Diner’s Club, Telephone Reassurance, Volunteer Visiting, Adult Day Programs, Safety At Home, Volunteer Hospice Visiting, Emergency Response Systems and Information & Resource.
